Shade sails for patio — Charlotte, NC

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When planning a hardscape project, several factors influence the total investment. The type of materials you select—whether natural stone, concrete pavers, or permeable options—plays a significant role. The scope of work, including site preparation, excavation, and existing landscape removal, also impacts the bottom line. Projects involving complex patterns, curves, or integrated features like fire pits and retaining walls require more labor and time. Soil conditions and drainage needs can add complexity, affecting overall installation requirements. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Shade sails are tensioned fabric canopies that provide cooling shade over specific areas of your yard. You need them if you have an open patio or pool deck that receives too much direct sunlight. They are great for creating a modern, airy look while keeping your outdoor seating area comfortable during peak afternoon heat. Installation requires secure anchor points on your home or dedicated posts. We can help you determine the best placement to block the sun during the hours you use it most.
